Is it really worth hundreds of dollars? Yes, absolutely. The Airwrap features Dyson’s digital motor V9 that spins up to 110,000 times per minute (that’s a lot), and it’s fully equipped with intelligent heat control (meaning it regulates its own temperature more than 40 times per minute) to keep it under 302 degrees, thus preventing heat damage. Airwrap comes with six attachments, including two long barrels for curling (a 1.2-inch and a 1.6-inch option), a soft smoothing brush head, a firm smoothing brush head, a round volumizing brush head, and a smoothing attachment. We couldn’t pick a favorite if we tried, but the barrels are pretty innovative. We’ve been so consistently impressed by these barrels that we included the Airwrap in our best rotating curling irons and best curling irons lists despite technically not being a curling iron.
