Not many can say their first baby photos were on the cover of People Magazine, but Riley Keough can. In the Nepo Baby lexicon, Keough is one of the most iconic, considering she’s the eldest granddaughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She’s a house ambassador for Chanel, and has starred in a bevy of television shows (Daisy Jones and the Six) and movies (Zola, Mad Max: Fury Road) that have helped define modern pop culture. So, of course, she’s a bonafide It Girl, and her latest look pays tribute to the It Girls that came before her—including her grandma.

On June 2, Keough posted photos on Instagram of her look for a Hulu panel for her show Under The Bridge. The 35-year-old plays a writer in the murder mystery miniseries, and stars alongside powerhouse Lily Gladstone. For the event, Keough took inspiration from her grandma, the Priscilla Presley, and debuted a fresh set of bangs for summer.

Keough’s style is equal parts classic and relaxed, and her spin on the bang trend felt unique to the star. Her bangs aren’t blunt, but they also aren’t as wispy as typical curtain bangs. They rest slightly above the tops of her eyebrows and have a curl to them that frames both sides of her forehead. The new haircut, courtesy of hairstylist Mark Townsend, had a very ’60s feel and would have looked right at home on Presley back in the day.

The rest of the look was pared-back and minimalist. Styled by Jamie Mizrahi, Keough layered a white button-up with a cropped red sweater over top. She paired it with sophisticated black pants and pumps, and accessorized with a long necklace with a stone pendant.

Keough’s makeup was also minimal. She wore a pretty rosy lipstick shade with soft brown eyeshadow and black eyeliner that complimented her green eyes, courtesy of makeup artist Mai Quynh. Her cheeks were dusted with a barely-there shade of pink blush and bronzer framed her cheekbones.

It doesn't get any more iconic than referencing your influential grandmother with your style. And, the actress might have kickstarted a new trend: Priscilla Presley bangs, which are going on our summer mood board, stat!
