I came home from Florida last month with a big old case of Spring Fever, and I’m so ready to kick winter to the curb and step into spring wearing all the fun sandals I styled while I was there.
Of course, now I’m rocking a snazzy black medical boot for the next few weeks, so it will be a little longer than I had hoped before I can start enjoying my spring shoes. But for those of you who do not share in my misfortune, I’ve put together my spring sandal edit for you today.

Slides are my favorite style of sandal. They’re so easy to, well, slide on and go. You can find slides in all heel heights, including flats; and they look good with everything from jeans and shorts to dresses and skirts.
This year, raffia is a trending fabric across all accessory categories, including footwear. I’m particularly fond of this one because it is distinctively summer and adds texture to my outfits. And of course, there are plenty of leather styles out there too. I rounded up a bunch of options below:

Strappy sandals are ideal for dressier looks, but some have a more casual vibe. Kitten heels are trending this season, and they look great with a more delicate upper. I always get requests for comfort sandals, so I ordered a few to try before I injured my ankle. Either it was fortuitous, or I jinxed myself… I’m not sure which, but at least I have these waiting in the wings for whenever I can start wearing regular shoes again.
STYLE TIP: When looking for comfort sandals that aren’t frumpy, you generally want thinner straps and/or less foot coverage. Of course, wider straps and more foot coverage provide more stability, so you have to find a happy medium that works for you and your brand of finicky feet. Another tip for fighting the frump factor with your footwear is to wear colors that are close to your skin tone.
