Another Target collab is here, but this one might just be the most anticipated yet. When I casually mentioned I was shooting the Diane von Furstenberg x Target collection to my friends, they freaked out, saying they’ve been drooling over the Instagram ads of the pieces ever since it was announced! Needless to say, I felt very lucky to get my hands on a few pieces to try it out before they go live on the site this Saturday March 23.

I know shopping a collab that sells out so quickly can be stressful, so make sure to set your alarms for the drop, and build your cart NOW so all you have to do is log in and hit checkout to secure the goods. Everything goes live at 3AM eastern time on March 23.

The full collection includes apparel for kids, women’s wear, activewear, and home decor with most items falling under the $50 mark. The full range of the collection is $3.99 to $100, with select made to order furniture retailing over $300. But each piece I wear below is under $50, so yeah, go ahead and get a few things!

Long Sleeve V-Neck Ginkgo Green Sweater Wrap Top $40 Buy Now The first look I’m wearing is the Ginkgo Green Sweater Wrap top, made in DVF’s iconic wrap style. It’s made to be tunic-length and looks so chic paired with the matching bottoms. I have to say, I’ve never worn so much color in my life, but something about DVF just makes me feel instantly chic.

I love that the pants were long enough for my 5’9 frame. The length of the arms on the top were a little short, but I still think they looked good all in all with the whole set. Everything in the collection ranges in sizes XS-4X and I found them to be pretty true to size. Target in general is true to size and this collection is no different.

I hate to admit it took me wayyyyy to long to figure out how to wear the wrap style. Helpful hint: there’s a whole on the right side of the waist once you have the item on. Pull the string from the left side of the piece into that hole and wrap it around the back of the item. From there you can wrap the string on the left side around the back to meet it in front for the perfect tie.

All in all, I’m obsessed with this look and love that you don’t need to wear anything underneath (you can’t see through it!) and how comfy it is while making you look instantly put together.

Collared Sleeveless Vintage Weave Neutral Sweaterknit Midi Wrap Dress $45 Buy Now The next look is something I probably would have never chosen for myself but loved the way it looked on. With a dress like this, you can elevate it for work with heels or put your own casual spin on it like I did by pairing it with Doc Martens.

As someone who is in denial of growing up, I have to say the best part about trying DVF pieces is how instantly grown up yet still fashionable it makes you feel. You don’t have to dress in boring black slacks and a cream top to look like someone who can run a business meeting. The line really is effortless, and that’s probably the first word I’d use to describe it.

Racerback Yellow Poppy Sports Bra $25 Buy Now Finally, athleisure! This is prob the look I was most comfortable with to start out, but seriously, I think I’m a wrap dress convert! Anyway back to the workout wear: DVF brought her iconic bright prints to this set, and I have to say, it made me want to work out. The DVF logo under the top makes this piece look soooo much more expensive than it is, and although I’m not typically a label girlie, I was proud to rock the DVF band.

And at just $25? If you buy one thing from the collection let it be this. The matching pants are $35, so you may as well get both. These would look great with white socks and sneakers or with strappy Birkenstocks. Everything in this line is versatile and it’s easy to inject your personality into the looks, no matter how you style them. Just a warning: the bottoms looked soooo small when I first pulled them out of the package. But don’t be worried! They stretch and feel so good once they’re on. I took my regular size.

Yellow Poppy Leggings $35 Buy Now Just be aware that these pants are not designed to be full-length, so if you’re tall like me and want coverage, pairing them with white socks is your best bet.
