When we think of ’90s supermodel glam, images of voluminous hair, sculpted cheeks, and matte eyes instantly come to mind. Daisy Jones & the Six star Camila Morrone’s beauty look at the January 2024 Emmy Awards featured all of these stunning elements and more (her fire-engine red Versace dress was divine too). The actress—who is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Limited or Anthology Series—graced the red carpet with a bouncy blowout and neutral makeup.
Celebrity hairstylist Bryce Scarlett (who also counts Margot Robbie and Kirsten Dunst as clients) styled Morrone’s hair using Drybar’s Southern Belle Volume-Boosting Mousse ($29) and Southern Belle Volume-Boosting Root Lifter ($29), creating a full and fluffy look that exuded Italian glamour.

Morrone’s makeup is the work of Mary Phillips (she’s responsible for glamming the likes of Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, and Jennifer Lopez). She created the entire look using products from Nars Cosmetics, starting with the Light Reflecting Firming Serum ($80) and Light Reflecting Moisturizer ($65) to prep Morrone’s skin.
To achieve her fresh, neutral complexion, Phillips used the Laguna Bronzing Cream ($40), Radiant Creamy Concealer ($32), and Light Reflecting Foundation ($52). For Morrone’s subtly rosy cheeks, Phillips reached for Afterglow Liquid Blush ($32) in Dolce Vita and Behave. She topped the liquid formula with the Blush ($32) in shades Dominate, Behave, and Bumpy Ride. To give the actor’s cheeks a sculpted supermodel look, Phillips applied the Laguna Bronzing Powder ($40) in 02 and 03 and The Multiple Stick ($39) in Copacabana. She set Morrone’s complexion makeup with the Light Reflecting Setting Powder ($40).

The ’90s influence also came through in Morrone’s matte brown eye makeup. To bring Morrone’s softly sculpted eye look to life, Phillips used the shades Magentism and Midnight from the Afterglow Irresistible Eyeshadow Palette ($60). She then applied the High-Pigment Longwear Eyeliner ($24) in Via Veneto and Last Frontier and Climax Mascara ($25) to make Morrone’s eyes really pop. While skinny brows were a hallmark of the ’90s, Phillips chose to keep Morrone’s eyebrows full and fluffy, lightly filling them in with the Brow Perfecter ($25) in Komo.
Phillips completed Morrone’s look with a few swipes of the Precision Lip Liner ($24) in Morocco and Afterglow Sensual Shine Lipstick ($32) in Voyeur. The finished look is nothing short of stunning. From her neutral lip to her voluminous blowout, every part of Morrone’s glam complemented her fitted red Versace gown perfectly.
