I have tried everything to solve my dark and puffy under-eye circles: creams, serums, masks, you name it. And while I might be cursed with a lifetime of this (eye) baggage, a good coverage concealer does wonders for my complexion.

Enter: the Jane Iredale Enlighten Plus Concealer, which not only boasts a full-coverage formula but also broad spectrum SPF that smooths, depuffs, and protects delicate skin under my eyes.

The product comes in an easy-to-use squeeze tube with a metal applicator that felt cool to the touch and helped depuff my under eyes while I applied the concealer. Though it offers a full-coverage look that completely hid my dark circles, the consistency still felt lightweight. It was easy to blend and still buildable without caking, making my entire face glow a little extra. It was like magic.

Here’s the best part: While it does its job to conceal your under-eye problem areas, it also works behind the scenes to correct those issues. Thanks to its skincare-forward formula, I noticed a brighter complexion after taking my makeup off each night. The Persian silk tree extract is a natural amino acid that improves texture and smooths fine lines, while the quinoa seed extract works to combat dark circles and puffiness. The probiotic ferment is also an antioxidant-rich ingredient that moisturizes the skin and repairs sun damage.

It’s not just my opinion, either. Shoppers are on the same page and raved about the “great coverage” concealer that “stays on all day.” One customer said that it “doesn’t settle in wrinkles,” while others added that it’s “smooth and creamy” and “goes on like butter.”

I started with my primer and foundation before going in with the concealer, and per the brand’s instructions, gently squeezed three small dots under my eyes. I used the metal applicator to smooth out the product before going in with my concealing brush to fully blend the look.

Though the Enlighten Plus Under-Eye Concealer helps dark and puffy circles disappear, Jane Iredale has several other concealers to target different issues. You can take the skincare brand’s concealer quiz to find a solution for yourself. Keep scrolling to check out other favorites, like the Active Light Under-Eye Concealer and Circle/Delete Concealer.
