Emma Corrin is perhaps one of the most avant garde dressers in the game. Of course, we know that being an artist is one side of the coin, and crafting an iconic star image is the other. Corrin’s press tour has been a fashion ride, and their little black bonnet at the Los Angeles premiere of Nosferatu has captured my heart completely.

Corrin has this Tilda Swinton sort vibe, where something about their entire persona screams art freak. And people like that are the only fashion inspirations I’m personally taking notes from. I don’t really personally pay much attention to which celebs have decided skinny jeans are cool or if we need to throw away our baggy shirts for cropped baby ones because a certain celeb has. Of course all celebs are contributing to fashion trends, and we see this every single day, but in my humble opinion, this is where we differentiate between celebs who are trend setters and style icons. Emma Corrin, without a doubt, is a style icon.

Since rising to fame with their portrayal of Princess Diana in The Crown, Corrin has become one of those high fashion avant garde celebs whose red carpet style can’t be copied bar for bar, similar to the likes of Zendaya. Personally, I would never attempt to copy their style because, honestly with some people it can’t be done. But I am very very inspired by their bonnet and am making it a goal to make that my first serious fashion purchase of 2025.
