If you didn’t buy a suede tote in 2025, there’s still time. Anya Taylor-Joy was spotted out in New York City on Wednesday, February 5, carrying an oversized chocolate design, confirming that last year’s “it” bag is still hot.
At first, I thought the actress was rocking The Row’s highly-coveted Margaux bag, but after staring at the photos for a little bit too long, I realized she wasn’t. According to multiple reports online, Taylor-Joy was carrying the Atlas Weekender. The spacious but chic look was one of the items in the $1 million gift bags that were handed out at the 2025 Golden Globes, per the Robb Report. Like the Margaux, which retails for $3,600 and up, the Atlas Weekender is pretty exclusive. In fact, you can’t even purchase the Atlas Weekender because it was created exclusively for the ceremony. However, there are some options that resemble both the Margaux and the Atlas Weekender on Amazon.

The marketplace offers a $50 piece that features a streamlined, half-moon shape with rounded top handles as well as a crossbody strap. Since the bag’s release, tons of shoppers have taken to TikTok to show off the Amazon options, describing them as “chic” and “luxe.” Amazon reviewers have echoed similar sentiments, gushing that it’s of “great quality” and “looks just like the expensive one.”

Suede totes became a must-have in 2024 due to fashion trends gravitating towards timelessness, versatility, and practicality. Suede pairs well with almost everything and gives off an expensive vibe. Fashion houses like Miu Miu, Chloé, Victoria Beckham, and Burberry proved that the style is here to stay on their spring/summer 2025 runways. The labels sent models down the catwalk carrying different iterations of the design, some slouchy, some structured, but all oh-so good.
