Superstar Ice Spice’s long hair was giving Rapunzel last night at the Alexander Wang show last night in New York City. Ice Spice was earlier this year the star of the newest Alexander Wang campaign for the collection, “Nocturna,” so of course she had to be there.
The breakout star had her hair parted in a deep middle part and crimped all the way down to her upper thighs. Frankly I’m living for it. But you know that because she’s a Wang girl, she was also decked out to the gods in the new collection. She wore a long sleeve sheer maxi dress embellished in what looks to be heavy black studs. She paired it with a black bra and briefs underneath, a studded black leather bag, and studded black heels.
The glam was also really classic, really letting the hair shine. She had a thick graphic eyeliner look on the eyes, very soft cheeks, and a natural pink glossy lip.
The look she wore to the runway show feels like a continuation of the looks she wore in the “Nocturna” campaign back in March. In those photos, her hair was just as long, if not longer, but pin straight, and the look was very similar, but just sleeker and without the studs. Intentional or not, there does seem to be some storytelling that Alexander Wang is doing with Ice Spice.
In the campaign photos, Ice Spice wore pieces like leather outerwear and fishnet tights, hotfix denim, lingerie, and knee high boots. Her signature amber hair was long and straight. In the photo above, she wore a full length sheer maxi dress studded with rose cut crystal gem embeds and a bag from Alexander Wang’s Dome line.
