Along with relaxed and full-length styles, pintucked pants are trending this spring. This is a great way to add interest to a simple outfit. It also creates a long, vertical line for a slenderizing and leg-lengthening effect.

I found these pintucked flare pants at LOFT, and I love this cool shade of oatmeal-beige for spring. They’re stretchy and comfortable and super flattering, with slimming interior stretch pockets.
These pants have a 11 5/8″ rise and a 31″ inseam, and they also come in petite sizes. They run true to size, or size down if in between; I have the 6.
I styled these pants with two different tops for this post. This Sanctuary Johnny Collar Top is from Evereve. The sophisticated animal print gives it an elegant appeal with a bit of an edge, making it a nice option for dinners out and certain office environments. It has a relaxed fit, so you may want to size down if you are in between sizes in tops.
To keep the look light and airy, I added nude pumps and a belt in a similar shade of beige. My pumps are like 10 years old, and they’re fine, but a more current look would be a pair of lower heeled slingbacks.
I came right home and ordered these in Soft Beige and these in Brown, but now I will probably be sending them back. Due to my recent ankle injury, I doubt I’ll be able to wear heels this summer. Womp… womp… At any rate, if you’re looking to update your dress shoes, I would recommend either of those styles.
I also took a few pictures of the same outfit with this Geo Shirred Raglan Blouse from LOFT. This blouse is a little more conservative than the animal print blouse, which is perfect for church or work wear. Or you can dress it down with white jeans and silver flats for dinner out with the family or other casual events.

The modest v-neck and shirred raglan sleeves are flattering for most body types, and the blouson sleeves keep it looking feminine and not too corporate.
I was planning to wear this outfit with one of the new pairs of slingbacks to church on Easter Sunday in a few weeks, but now it looks like I’ll be sporting a fancy black medical boot, so I guess I need to rethink that outfit plan!
I hope this post gives you some non-denim spring outfit inspiration, if that’s something you seek! And I rounded up some more pintucked pants in both denim and non-denim options below for your shopping convenience!
